Management (TAG) and Projects dashboard
Published 14 August 2026 · 8 min read
Legacy Premium filters the dashboard by TAG or PROJ. Same blocks — KPIs, flow, annuities, top expenses — on a narrower scope. On Legacy, think personal use cases (trip, DIY job, vegetable garden, car or house purchase). On Noétis, the same ideas support farm / business tracking (workshops, folders).
Four contexts
| Context | Filter | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Accounting | None | Whole personal picture |
| Journal TAG (white) | White TAG | Identify spending on a trip, completed job, or event |
| Management (green TAG) | Green TAG | Track a margin: home garden; on Noétis, animal or crop workshop |
| Projects | PROJ | Bounded budget: car purchase, house purchase, renovation |
White Journal TAGs vs green Management TAGs
- White Journal TAGs: label spending to find it later — a holiday, a finished DIY job, a weekend. They do not aim to compute a margin.
- Green Management TAGs: group income and charges to see if an activity “pays for itself” — a personal vegetable garden; on Noétis, an animal or plant workshop.
TAG dashboard (green)
Green TAGs tag Journal lines for a margin. EBF, ETF, flow, and top expenses recalculate on tagged entries only. Untagged spending does not appear.
PROJ dashboard
PROJ isolates project budgets on Legacy — car purchase, house purchase, renovation: spend vs allocated resources, monthly drawdowns, and loan instalments (account 1642) when relevant.
When to use which
- Accounting: annual personal picture.
- White TAG: regroup past spending (trip, completed job).
- Green TAG: recurring margin (garden; on Noétis, animal / crop workshop).
- PROJ: single job or purchase with a dedicated budget (car, house).
- Return to Accounting before sharing consolidated figures.
TAG KPI is zero?+
Tag Journal entries first; only tagged lines feed the view.
White TAG or PROJ for a trip?+
A completed trip often fits a white Journal TAG to total spending. PROJ fits better when you budget ahead for a purchase or works (car, house).
Forecast in PROJ mode?+
Use project KPI and flow in PROJ; use global Accounting view for personal cash forecast.
